Is this normal?

Don’t really know how to explain this, my neck feels as if my pulse is going real hard but when I touch my Paul’s it’s normal, it’s almost as if my neck feels tired or hot like my hearts been pounding a lot but when I checked my blood pools it’s normal so it worries me I’m wondering if this is normal with anxiety/tolerance with drawl/withdrawal period. I do not feel my heart racing or anything it’s just like a weird hotness that I feel in my neck and then I kind of feel like a pressure like I’m both sides almost like as if my pulse is going real strong on my neck

Though I didn't have it in the same spot, I felt a strong thudding pulse in my left temple that stuck with me throughout the end of my taper and for awhile afterwards.  I thought it might be a BP indicator since my BP was pretty elevated for awhile.

 

We do get some weird sensations that aren't completely explainable during this.  It's always good to have things checked out if they last very long or cause you anxiety....simply to reassure yourself that there isn't something going on.
