Worst time of the day during WD?

I find the worst part of the day at morning upon walking up,

- stomach feels awful, especially if i slept with an empty stomach

- tremors, most tremors are upon walking up, rest of the day they are still there but less

- intense depression and hopelessness, more in the morning than midday and afternoon

I read online that 0.5 lorazepam has an effect of 5-6 hours, I find on my personal experience this to be true. Once 5 hours pass after my initial dose of 0.5 mg in the morning, I start shaking more and having anxiety more, unless I take another 0.5 mg then these symptoms subside again. But I dont want to live on lorazepam all my life. I already made dietary changes to my dietary lifestyle, and try to exercise more, but I guess there is far more to do to avoid relying on lorazepam to get over my stress in life.

As im used at 4-5 mg/day, and now on 2 mg/day , im already having rebound symptoms such as increased stress and anxiety and depression. I hope they go away when i stabilize at the new dose ( 2mg day) and then once that happens I will try to titrate slowly the dose down to zero. Thats my dream. But for this to happen I must also learn to avoid unnecessary stress and anxiety and im not sure how to do that when being jobless for long time, not having savings, not having any friends to support me, and my relatives have dismissed me long ago as something lesser than human. Even when they know I try to reduce my weight and cut down on benzos they seem to be even more hard on me, as if they are sure I will not succeed. I believe I should never contact any of them again as they a majorly negative thing in my life and last thing I want during WD is negative people around me.

Morning are the worse for me too. Cortisol surges wake me up at 630 ( if i have even fallen asleep at any point) and the shock of feeling i am still in this nightmare is horrifiC

Your signature said that you were at 4 mg. during September 2017, and your post says that you are at 2 mg. now.  This is a very fast reduction, because it is just October 4.

Take it easy!  Read on this site about not reducing, in dry cuts, more than 10 percent at a time.  And then hold for a time.

Best wishes to you.  Your withdrawal will be more severe if you rush it.

Havent bought a measure yet to do titration once I do that will definetally not be cutting 0.50 at a time cause it really causes horrible effects. Thank you all for caring. I really get inspired by reading your struggles and your coping mechanisms and thats why I share mine, but each person is different and drugs seem to affects us in similar but different ways. :idiot:
