I'm only at 11 months & literally still feel awful.  But it scares me to think I'll feel like this at year 2, 3 or 5+!!  And that Dr. Jennifer Leigh thing really freaked me out.  I was totally utilizing her services & hopeful because she was saying she was so much better & then bam!  At over 5 years she's in acute w/d??!?!!  Are you sure this isn't permanent brain damage??  I'm so god damn mad I sought a solution in a psychiatrists office.

I hear you.  The Dr. Leigh stuff really stressed me out also.  I'd like to think that when 'healed', I'm actually healed, 100%.

This is a graph that gives me some hope.  I'm 15 months out almost, and noticing just recently that healing has been speeding up quite a bit.  Feeling hopeful again.

Thanks for the link, the stats are encouraging and hopeful.  Whichever way this rolls out for me, I hope I can heal eventually.  I don't mind waiting, just so long as I get there.

 

I was saddened that Dr. Leigh got sick and her website is down.  She's a hero in the benzo community, and I sincerely hope she's doing better.  She has helped so many people, and she deserves the best.  With full respect to Dr. Leigh's privacy, has anyone heard anything?  We all should wish her prompt and full recovery.
