18 months off and I'm back into acute withdrawal!

Everything was going quite well up until the 15 months mark and then I started going down the slope. I'm now literally thrown back into acute withdrawal. Severe insomnia, anxiety, panic atracks, dp/dr, depression, hallucinations, severe OCD, relentless intrusive thoughts, body muscle aches and the list goes on....

I have been gradually thrown back into acute since the last 3 months or so. But the past 2-3 weeks have been so intense!

I once thought, all these horrible symptoms, are over with!

This happened to me at around nine months and resolved at about fourteen - it was even worse than acute.

 

It's crazy how this happens, and it seems different for everyone. Hope yours turns around soon.

I'm going through a similar thing. I was doing fairly well, but had some stressful stuff happen around month 11 and I was slammed back into acute...worse than acute, really. I'm at about 16 months off now and things are getting better. Not great, but better. I have bad days here and there, but nothing like I had five months ago. I'm getting out more now, driving, and able to tolerate more. You'll get through this, too, so just get through each day, one day at a time.

 

I'd also add that I've read a lot of people saying that they got slammed with bad symptoms quite a few months out, only to be healed soon after...your brain's last hiccup before finally getting its act together. Here's hoping that's the case.
