3 Months off!

Hey all! im rounding up almost 3 months now and I THINK im starting to feel better! I have recently begun to eliminate most stressors in my life which I can tell helped immensely in the last couple weeks and have also begun seeing a therapist for the first time ever in my life once a week now. Not sure how well that will go but its at least someone who is forced to listen to all of my problems for an hour lol. I have started to feel a lot more mentally "there" in the last few weeks so the mental aspect of my symptoms are not so life controlling anymore, no more doom and hopelessness. I feel like im noticing my visual symptoms less everyday and maybe that's just because im not so focused on them anymore but hey fine by me! My bloated and extended belly has now become flat and i think its partly due to me adopting a whole food diet and eating less (tho i still have a few cheat meals). Ive lost a ton of weight. Ive taken up walking a mile every night, Ive found that I wake up the next day always feeling better. Insomnia comes and goes some days but i find that when i wake up now its not so toxic as before. The morning twitches are all gone for the most part! Im finding that im wanting to leave the house and do things now, which I haven't felt in almost half a year.

Symptoms that still persist:

Difficulty urinating/passing stool

I think i have heartburn everytime I eat now? idk ive never had stomache issues before this all

I still get some internal buzzing on my left side and its scares me, but its definitely not so strong now

I still get cramps and spasms in my left leg and back that make walking difficult and that scares me alot too, i feel like some days its too physical of symptoms to just be benzos.

Throat feels weird sometimes almost as if the muscles in my throat are weak and sore, which also terrifies me

Ive met someone new and she makes me feel wanted and special. Something I havent felt in a very long time, something my last person stopped giving me as I changed and struggled with life due to antidepressants. It seems so cruel to me looking back at it but i try not to think of the past so much. A part of me is worried my none 100% body and mind might ruin this. Some days I just dont feel like speaking to or seeing anyone :/ .

Im excited to see further progress for us all and the future joy that would bring me! :smitten:

Looks like you're coming along nicely.  I'm guessing your new friend has helped.  A positive, compassionate attitude is worth a LOT.

Braud001....I am very happy that you are feeling better at your almost three month mark. I also do between 2-3 miles sometimes 4 miles of walking a day but I break it down to 2-3 increments. This helps me with distractions.

I still get cramps and spasms on both my legs and you are very right, it could makes walking very difficult but I have to push through.

Also, congratulations for meeting someone nice and makes you special. We need all the love we can get to hopefully helps us feel better during our recovery period. Not wanting to see or speak to someone is normal withdrawal. I am still at this phase but is getting better.

Sending you my love and heartfelt prayers for continuous healing!
