So 18 months ago I started tapering 3 mgs of Klonopin.. Almost one month ago I came off the last 10mgs of Valium in detox. Here are my current physical symptoms. Weight loss, nausea, hair loss, muscle pain, stiffness, tension and loss, joints popping, weakness, dizziness, GI issues, frequent urination, diarrhea, sweating and horrible vision. Can anyone relate to me and when did you notice things start to improve? Just looking for any kind of story to relate to. It just seems so insane that physically I am SO beat up. No exaggeration, I am flat out hurting and just hoping that it's benzos alone bc on the meds I didn't have these issues. Thanks guys.

Hi, I've been off of Ativan since 9/19.  Symptoms just suck.  Hair loss (started in May - I've lost about a quarter of my hair).  But since jumping, the tychardia, depression, dizziness,  night sweats (they were there before, too), vision...all there and present every day.  Not to mention anxiety.  You are not alone. Sorry you are hurting.  It will get better one day.

I'm now 7 months off.  During most of this I have had 19 symptoms and now I'm down to 8 and of those I have had a lot of improvement.  I had weight loss within the first month I lost 15 pounds and no more since then, nausea and vomit 1x was in the first month (wasn't constant), dizziness was in month 2 (not constant but some pretty intense experiences), frequent urination from month 2, improved in month 5 and gone by month 6, night sweats alternating with being cold was in month 1-2.  Those are the symptoms I have in common with you.  I know you know we are all different but I also know it helps to hear that these symptoms do go away.  I know how awful the early months are.  Just know you will come through it and will heal.  Please hang on to hope, knowing that your body is doing it's best to work this all out.
