Lorazepam - anyone notice differences between brands/generics?

not sure this is a general taper board question but wasn't sure which board to put this on

 

any lorazepam users out there?

Have you noticed any major differences between brands?

pss - you can answer re: sublingual or oral - when i start to taper i'll have to change to oral for part of the dose to start as i can't split the sublingual without making lots of crummies lol

Yes, I've been on this crap for 15 years so I do notice differences. Thankfully just one though. It was an awful, horrible experience where I thought I was losing my mind. I am fine with any generic EXCEPT "Actavis." That is crap. It's like placebo. I know they say all generics are the same, but the way I felt and behaved, it was like I was taking sugar pills. I always call ahead at the pharm and request that they fill my script with anything but Actavis.

good to know ..sorry to hear..but good to know.

and generics aren't always 'the same' - other people here talk about noticing differences - mostly due to fillers but some drugs in terms of their delivery (if not IR for example) can vary a lot with generics. 

But it's not all generics/drugs...and I just wasn't sure if anyone had had the experience with ativan.
