Hello BenzoLand I need help with my liquid taper

Hi Benzobuddies,

I am new here. I am not good with forums so I hope I get this right. I have tapered down to 4.5 mg of Valium from 35 mg. I used dry cutting until I got down to 5 mg. I then switched to a water titration. I have had many more symptoms since doing this. I feel I need to change and make it into a solution. Can anyone help me with that? I had another man helping me do the math but he didn't make his into a solution. Thank you in advance!

A fair number of people report that going from solid to liquid feels like a cut.  A few of us have debated the cause, but that's really of no matter.  You may wish to increase your 'apparent' dose a little.  Maybe try 5.5mg or even 6.0 if 5.5 doesn't feel right.

Water is not a good way to take valium.  It's essentially insoluble in water.  Some people use whole milk - the fat seems to solubilize the drug.  Some first dissolve their pill in a small amount of alcohol (e.g. everclear) or propylene glycol (PG - available in drugs stores and on-line).  Then they add water.

The Daily Micro-Tapering Group is a good place to get more detailed info.  http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=135284.0;topicseen
