Anesthetic during recovery... Advice

I'm 43 days out.

 

I need help with anesthetic. I may bite the bullet and go for the endolymphatic sac decompression surgery in my right ear(cochlear hydrops). I am really struggling with the aural fullness, tinnitus and distorted hearing which just ramps up my anxiety.

 

Any advice with regards to the anesthetic? It's a 2 hour procedure.

Thanks guys. Managed to use the search feature. There are good and bad experiences. Guess we have to do what we have to do!

 

If you do have any other advice, please share! Feel very nervous about the procedure but I cannot stand the modulated tinnitus, hearing loss and distortion and mostly the aural fullness.

Yes.

 

The rear of the ear is cut and moved over. They then cut (drill) through the mastoid bone down to the inner ear endolymphatic sac. They rupture the sac to release the endolymph fluid. I don't want to be awake for that.
