100 Days Off - insomnia and other symptom update

At 100 days drug-free, I am left with the following:

Insomnia for last week has not been severe. I am getting 4hrs sleep per night.

My depression is not intense at all but I have lingering anxiety.

My head pressure does now seem to go. I have squeezing sensations, burning and tingling brain, and fire ants crawling all over frontal lobe. I am afraid this might last awhile. I feel my sleep will continue improving but I am very concerned about these symptoms.

My cognitive function seems okay but towards evening I feel brain-dead and unmotivated.

Can anyone relate with all this or at least with the head symptoms. With no change yet can I still even have hope for improvement?

Take good care everyone and don't give up.

It's good to hear that your sleep is improving.  You were basically getting zero (or nearly zero) sleep for a while.  The additional sleep has to be helping your cognitive functioning.  Amazing, isn't it, how 4 hours of sleep can be acceptable?  Just think of when it increases to 5 hours!!

I'm sure the head zaps and squeezing will resolve as will the 'chemical' anxiety.  This withdrawal/recovery takes so freakin' long, but you're well on your way.

I'm so glad you're getting some regular sleep! 4 hours is incredible progress. It seems to me some of these neuro symptoms hang on but that doesn't mean they're permanent or will stay as intense. I still have the tingling/wet/mentholated feeling on my face with some body warmth (not quite burning) which is vast improvement. I use it as a marker. As long as I have this I can't freak out about the insomnia being caused by something other than wd.
