Anybody was able to become a parent and handle that?

I have a beautiful after benzo child. He is happy, kind, extremely smart.

I am completely exhausted and thrilled at the same time.

Best of luck to you. Kids are a blessing.

Make sure you are well on your way to recovery. I had a little girl and although she is beautiful and im stoked to have her the stress of having a child sent me way back in the healung process

I had a kid while on benzos, but I did taper down in order to get pregnant.  I stupidly reinstated at the end of my pregnancy, and even though we tried everything to have a second child, we just couldn't.  The doctors never found a reason for our secondary infertility, and I can't help but wonder if it isn't the benzos.

I had a really hard time breastfeeding.  I don't know if it was the klonopin of not but I ended up having to use a bottle instead.

I'm pregnant now. I'm totally nervous but man, this is a privileged denied to many. I'm doing my best as I've only been told to c/t recently due to pregnancy. On top of pregnancy, I have a physical disability but I'm honored to be going through this, really. I have a lot of love to give and I've never limited myself b/c I use a wheelchair. It sucks, but hey, I'm here. My hope is that if I do only teach my child one thing that sticks with him/her, is the teaching of empathy. We need more of that. I told someone that was pretty much all that mattered to me; that they don't judge based on race, religion, impairment and so forth. The room just went quit as if it was a foreign concept.

I'm excited to look back on these times and say we made it.
