27 years of Klonapin

I have been taking Klonapin 0.25 mg for 27 years for GAD and would like to tritrate off of it. I have cut the dosage in half..0.125 mg, but am unsure how long to stay on this dose and how to proceed. Thank you very much for your advice.

Welcome to the forum. I suggest you read some of the advice on tapering. The threads in bold are put out by forum moderators who have mostly or completely recovered from these wonderful drugs. I am currently dropping .0025 mg per day and my entire taper will take almost a year. But as you will see, everyone is different.
