I'm joining this community to post on the KClub. I've read the thread, and I think I'd be able to relate to a lot of people there. I was on Ativan for a year, about 3-4 pills a day, then I was switched the Klonopin (.05 x2 a day was the Rx, I took a pill and a half at most). Now, I'm tapering off K. I think I'd be useful in the thread, because I'm not psychologically dependent on the medication, only physically dependent. So I don't psyche myself out about the withdrawl symptoms, as they come. I'm not hypersensitive anymore, when it comes to my body and the way it feels. I think I could provide support for others, and I may even find support there! Hopefully I've convinced you I'm not spam. Thanks for your time.

Hello, DMW206 :) - welcome to BenzoBuddies!

It's great that you've already begun tapering from Klonopin - you've come to the right place to wrap it up and recover.

The Ashton Manual is an authoritative resource on what to expect during withdrawal and recovery. It provides a great deal of information that can be very reassuring during any stage of this process, including a list of common symptoms with helpful explanations.

For those who are currently tapering, a starting guideline is that the dosage not be reduced faster than by 5-10% every 10-14 days - some taper even more slowly than that. One exception: very short-term users of a few weeks or less may be able to taper somewhat faster.
