Is it normal to feel like a burning sensation?

I feel a burning sensation and kind of a dull headache.

I believe it is normal.  I have felt a burning sensation in my upper chest and in the back of my throat on and off.  It subsides then comes again, sometimes with a headache.  You're not alone.

Have had and still having alot of burning sensations.

In the face, legs, chest, ears and arms.

My legs and face are on fire some days.

Head pressure too.

I think it's rather common.

Hi guys, I'm 4 months off K and the burning is definitely a symptom. I struggled with it throughout my taper and still to this very moment. It does improve though. I've seen so many doctors and specialists and nothing they gave me ever helped. What does help is cold compresses, applying Vapo rub (that was a tip I got from another benzo buddy) and sometimes baby powder does the trick. Thought I would chime in because when I joined here I was desperate for some relief. Not many options unforunately, just time. Hope it passes for you soon

I've had burning throughout this whole taper mess...back of legs, outer arms, face, neck, back and mouth.

Sometimes feels like cold acid in my skin.

Sometimes just hot spots of burning on my thighs.

I've had burning in my chest too -

When I drink any sort of carbonated beverage or eat food I'm not used to eating it happens...

Keep going we will be free of this torture soon!

I get a burning sensation in my center chest too.  I've been having this almost constantly at different degrees since May.

Cardiologist says all is good.

Had GI tests done = all good.

What's left?  GI doc points the finger to benzo withdrawal.

I wish that I can say that this is normal, BUT none of this craziness is normal!

Yes, the burning sensation is common, I had it in my face, ears, nose, and around my lips.  It has improved a lot, but flares up sometimes.
