My name is Pelikaan and I have a hard time tapering from AD and Valium.

I came from 20mg and am on 5mg, but it seems I'm going too fast.

Welcome to BenzoBuddies.  I'm glad that you found us.  Tapering off benzodiazepines like valium is best done slowly. 

 

The Ashton Manual is an authoritative source on what to expect in withdrawal and recovery.  Dr. Ashton is an expert in the field. Section III explains and describes symptoms, and there is also a section with suggested taper schedules.
