Hi!  I have been off my meds as follows:  Gabapentin 2years, Zoplicone 1.75 years, Seroquel 10 months and Remeron 11 weeks.  I am feeling extremely terrified that what I am experiencing will never get better.  I am suffering from chronic insomnia, burning, tingling, numbness, adrenaline surges, myoclonic jerks, burning brain, dp/dr, etc.  I am averaging about 2 hours sleep per week at the moment and feel like I am going 2 lose my mind or drop dead if something doesn't change soon.  So basically I have been off everything 4 just about 11 weeks and everything is getting worse instead of better.

I have been told I am still in the early stages of w/d and this is why the symptoms appear 2 b getting worse and the length of time I have bee on them.  I don't know how much more of this inhumane suffering my body and mind can take.  I am getting weaker by the minute and can barely function at the moment.  I am totally exhausted and am having all sorts of dp/dr and adrenaline surge symptoms whenever I attempt 2 close my eyes either sitting or lying down 2 go to sleep.  This goes on most nights and days.

I desperately need some support, encouragement and reassurance that this will get better and that I won't lose my mind in the process.

I'm so sorry you are having such a horrible time. Just keep reminding yourself that it is just withdrawals and it is your body healing. It will get better, it just takes time. I know how hopeless it can feel but you can do this. You have gotten off many meds and you will be successful! Keep pushing forward, you are very strong

I'm so sorry that you are going through a very rough time right now needhelp1.  Have you been able to read any of the success stories here?  I've found their stories of struggle and recovery very inspirational and help give me hope that recovery is possible.  Thinking of you and sending healing thoughts.

So sorry you are struggling need,

This stuff is brutal!!! But we are in going through pretty much the same things in varying degrees. It's so hard to accept that these symptoms are ALL related to withdraw!

Right now I am on the couch. Screaming ears that have been this way for months, fatigue that is otherworldly and joint pain. I can relate to the frustration.

Not sure if you've read Parker's description of this process, but it does help us know that this is our brains/CNS healing.
