I'm glad the article mentioned iron deficiency as a possible contributor to RLS but, I wish they had mentioned magnesium deficiency as well.  My dad was having RLS that was keeping him up at night.  I had read that some people had successfully used magnesium to reduce/stop RLS.  I asked my dad to give magnesium a try. He was skeptical but did try it and his RLS pretty much went away. So maybe for him, it was a magnesium deficiency.

Thanks for the input, BurnedOut. Perhaps others out there will consider that too. It looks like the treatment should be multifaceted.
