Thought I was out of the Woods, NOPE!

Hello everyone.  I'm coming up on 4 weeks off and was feeling really good late last week and all last weekend.  Then started to feel like shit again this week (Anxiousness, intrusive thoughts, racing heart, broken sleep and chest pains).  Would this be a wave?  I was only on Xanax for 2 months before I jumped.

Sounds like a wave. Man I wish I'd had that kind of window at four weeks. I'm nearly 8 weeks off and still stuck in hell.

This is really tough this morning.  I want to take a Xanax really bad to see if it will take the edge off.  But I know that will only set me back.  My chest feels so tight right now.  I fucking hate this.

I was great for the first 6 weeks off then some symptoms appeared, It is almost like a mind f*^#k and takes some understanding that this will happen.

Keep on keeping on and please don't take any benzos as eventually you will feel better.

Thank you both for the support.  It's greatly appreciated.  Coming off Xanax this time around was the hardest thing ever.  I thought it was going to break me.  My problem is that I'm terrified that my anxiety will get to the level of having to take them again and that freaks me out.    Hope everyone is fighting the good fight.
