Is this possible for withdrawals? According to some people online, this can also be blurred vision. I'm on my 6 week WD and to think I was getting a little better with the exception of Insomnia, my vision is fairly cloudy and now I see rainbow halos as of today around lights. I know I should get my eyes checked to be sure but is it possible for W/D to do this?

Yup my vision is usually a mess especially with the do/Dr do you feel detatched?

I sometimes feel detached. Not a whole lot.  Well, if anyone else has this weird symptom, feel free to reply.

Yes, I've had blurry vision and auras on and off during my taper and afterwards.  Also very sensitive to bright lights and flashing or flickering motion (computer and tv). It tends to get worse in the afternoon/evening and during waves.  Sometimes during a window, it will go away completely. It does seem to be slowly getting better though.

Got my eyes checked and nothing was the result. So it is a symptom and yes it becomes blurred vision after it goes away. I had it for 12 hrs yesterday, today is 8. Here is hoping it becomes nothing from now on though it doesn't bother me much as some of the other symptoms.

NHBuck, I did feel detached today actually when I was with my friend doing a simple hike. But I definitely did my best to not let it bother me. It went away like in 2 hrs or so.

YES!

Exactly what I had.  Was mirtazapine in my case... both taking it and withdrawal.  Went to eye dr there was nothing wrong with my eyes.

Was scary!

Hi Barbara, better to play it safe. At least for those who are suffering from this and got their eyes checked, it makes them much stronger knowing it will all pass.

Yes, absolutely. I am tapering right now and for the whole time my vision has been blurry. No auras or anything but vision is definitely "cloudy". I've just accepted it. What can I do? Ya know?

Yup. Same here. My vision is perfect when in a window. Cloudy or xtra-cloudy during a wave. I just bought a few pairs of reading glasses and keep on chugging along,

Best,

Ed

anyone get the eye strain from galsses? my eyes are really bad and always feel like there straining

I had blurry vision, visual disturbances, and light sensitivity.  It went away after 3 months (a month after finishing my taper).  Other people suffer with this much longer.  If you are concerned, always have something checked.  Usually when people get it checked, their doctor tells them everything is ok, but it never hurts to have your eyes looked at.
