Derealization years after being off

Does anyone still suffer from dr and dp still? It's literally driving me insane. It makes driving at night so difficult.

I've been off approximately as long as you, and if I get triggered, I experience DR.  The good thing is that it doesn't come as frequently as it did in the past.

Derealization is pretty much persistent symptom no matter what caused it, but it will go away with time. It was the reason why I started taking benzo that worsened derealization both times.

I hate the derealization and depersonalization symptoms.  It is so disheartening to technically know what day of the week it is, while being unable to connect to it, or to have any natural sense of time flow.  I despise the moments when I feel like I'm not in my own body. My arms and legs sometimes feel like they're not mine.  Sometimes when I talk to others, I feel like I'm having an out-of-body experience, as though I stand beside myself.  Then I'm glad when the social interaction is over.  Although these symptoms have eased up somewhat over the course of my withdrawal  , they throw me for a loop when they intensify  .
