Scared for tommorow

Tommorow i will have a gastroscopy for My stomach they will  sedate me with dormicum is this bad??

So afraid it will mess up My widrawal.

Im 14 months out

 

Please help me

 

I cant do it without the sedation because i cant swallow the tube for the gastroscopy

Well I've never been sedated. But I'm fairly confident saying one dose of anything at all probably won't hurt you. Even if it ramped up symptoms for a few days, you'd be back to baseline fairly quickly.

The Ashton manual says a one time dose for a medical procedure should be ok. Plus you've been off 14 months already so I wouldn't worry that you're suddenly going to be throw back into the acute stage.
