I am 50 yrs male. I was on Clonazepam 0.5 mg for more than a year. I was also taking Antipsychotic med & Antidepressant. This year I was feeling better so since April I stopped Antipsychotic med first followed by antidepressant now since August 16th I stopped Clonazepam (after more than 2 months of stopping Antidepressant - Sertraline 100). Now more than 3 weeks but symptoms keep coming, sometimes they are so overwhelming & I am unable to understand what they are, is it depressant or variant of it or anxiety or high blood pressure or all of them together. I read about sensitivity. I was having sensitivity to alcohol even when I was taking Clonazepam. Now I am having sensitivity to Viamin B Complex. In a phase after 2 weeks I was sensitive even to any food I took. Now I have stopped Vitamin B & sensitivity to food, that is right away after taking a meal is not so much. Late evenings are better than during day. When should I expect the symptoms to ease?

Nobody can really say. Sometimes it matters how long you took them, sometimes it doesn't. Everyone is different and that's what makes this so hard. We want to know a date, but it's impossible to predict. I am 7 weeks one day off of 16 years use of Clonazepam. And it's still raging hard for me.

Hi there,

I am almost four months out from my last Clonazepam and have started to get windows (small time periods) a day or two with no symptoms. Alcohol, supplements and many foods are a big no no during our healing. Eat clean and gluten free as well for now. I put a post up asking people when they started to see more windows and the answer was between the 5-7 month range. Unforunately it's a long haul. I hope you find relief soon, Clonazepam is an evil one.
