Anger management tips

I need some.  Anyone got some?  I am so angry all the time lately.  Some things are legitimately unfair and I get so angry I find myself imagining starting a revolution.  On the flip side,  I'm also angry that every time I eat, it means there are dirty dishes for someone to wash.  Help. Tips?

Greencup there are a LOT  of things to be truly angry about. Esp in the US. AND I believe a revolution is needed.

But don't do anything crazy. Use social media and find like minded groups. Do things like protesting or calling lawmakers.

Just writing things down on paper or on a screen helps ME with the anger

As far as dishes I don't see red until I get to load 3 of dishwasher in one day.  Just take a deep breath. Use paper plates if it bothers you that much.

Or if you have someone you can vent to?

Hope this helps

I found other people angry at the same things yeah, but I feel like I am only just angry all day.  I am having a hard time just turning it off.  The negative thoughts just keep coming.

Well if you're not angry you're not paying attention but yep you can't live it 24/7.

TV helps me tune it all out. Swimming and bike riding too.

A lot of people in our society make this real easy too.  Rude, cold, heartless, mean, and cruel have unfortunately become too much the *norm* unfortunately.

Lest we forget irresponsible and lazy doctors too.  Who would not be angry about this needless suffering?

Well if you're not angry you're not paying attention...

Aint that the truth.

Yes I have an anger problem everytime I get in the car and drive.  It really does not help when you want to go the speed limit and the monster truck behind you wants everyone out of his way going 80 miles and hour.  Loud unexpected noises while driving (motorcycles, diesel engines and boom box) are a hazard that angers me as well.  Not drive? tell that to everyone who "expects" you to be "normal"  and tells you how can that bother you ~ it does not bother me.  Yes the loud unexpected noises, the way to bright LED lights bother me make me angry!

Positive affirmations are not working in this issue.

I experienced quite a bit of anger myself throughout my K withdrawal. I definitely recommend writing it out on paper. It doesn't even have to be a journal type of thing. Granted my hand hurt quite a bit at times but I found it incredibly helpful.

I've tried what he suggests in the video, and it takes a lot of practice to become the passive "observer" of your anger. But it helps to realize that the anger is not you.

Well just to update, yesterday afternoon, the anger feeling just left my body and things felt much more normal again.  I actually felt pretty tired from being angry for so long.  It honestly feels like the anger ran through my body like a virus.    Really weird.
