How many times do I have to have the doctor tell me it's not my heart before I believe/trust them?  Laying in bed, got hot so put fan in window,  got cold so I got up and reached to floor on end of bed to pull blanket off floor and pain in my left chest side.. instantly hot,  sweaty, yucky tummy, shallow breathing.. you name it, it's happening!   everytime I think I got a handle on things something scares me back to catastrophising my health! Oh.. and I woke up this morning with a horrendous cold sore the size of China under my bottom lip so I am house bound for 7 -10 days. I didn't even get warning for this one and it's been years since I've had one that wasn't on my lip.    if you've read this far you're a trooper! Peace Warriors!

I've had chest pain the past week , but now not anymore . NOW  my chest is always on fire 24/7. Always feel nauseated . Ive convinced myself I had a heart attack already .

I'm 25 by the way 🙄🙄 . *sigh* I hate this it's driving me crazy

I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this too. 😔 you are young, I'm sure you are ok but have you been checked? Peace of mind is helpful sometimes.

You know I kind of miss my health anxiety. It was better than the constant OCD thoughts I'm having now which are of a very dark nature. I had it for the longest time though, and one day it just shifted. Trust me there are worse things to obsess over.

Same. ;( I've been convinced I'm dying or have a horrible disease for weeks now. I've been to the ER and urgent care multiple times and a few doctor's appointments. All tell me I'm fine and ask me if I've considered meds for my anxiety. Thanks, but that's what started me on this journey in the first place.

I have terriable health anxiety, each time I come across new symptoms I start giggling it and all symptoms reach to the nasty disease, this burning under chest ribs, in tummy, pain in left arm and chest, sharp pain for few seconds some times, tightness I am facing all this, not saying to not get checked, bit just to let you know yah I am facing this many many times, infact I used to have it before started benzo after starting benzo I never felt it, since left I m back to all these symptoms.

I have had chest pains too and lots of other scary stuff. It's so frustrating when you really want help and think something serious is wrong with you and no one will do anything about it. I have been to the ER several times and other doctors and specialists too during the past 3 months. They usually don't even bother doing tests it's such a huge waste of time and money searching for answers

CBT may be the way to go to break this catastrophic thought cycle. It requires a good therapist though.

I have health anxiety too. I'm convinced I have some other illness what nobody has, and doctors can't find it. Had a lots of test all came back good.

16 months out and still have bad Thingling burning head and scalp head pressure, tinnitus, anxiety and depression all day 24/7 Never got a window. Doctors keep telling me I should take anxiety pills. No thank you. I never had anxiety before this hell. I got Clonazepam for sleep issues. Was not even bad if I think back, not like now. What a mess I got myself into.

Went to CBT for 3 months did not help me at all.

From my experience, when doctors give you anxiety pills, it is none other than benzos. Which is why I am in this mess. I was given Clonazepam not knowing about its W/D for anti anxiety. I'm going through CBT so I can get cleared for work. Doesn't really help imo, mines doesn't want to believe Benzos can do all this. Prior to benzo usage, I did have some anxiety but they came and went. I never had problems with sleeping though until Benzos. But my docs and psychologist believes that it came before. I'm like whatevers because my real intent is to get back to work and that is it. I'm also firing my doc for allowing me to take these meds in the first place and not tell me its dangers. I'll pray for the rest of you.

I hate the fact that because I have been diagnosed with anxiety they blame that for damn near everything. They too don't believe in benzos affecting a person so long. I'm always like I'm here, I have insurance, I pay my bills so run the tests you would run on someone else. Don't be dicks and suggest a freaking benzo again. So sick of all the BS!

I'm with you Sunnydeigh. Everything ends up being anxiety. I don't even like to tell people I have issues with it because then I feel like they don't take me seriously. Yeah, a lot of what I feel can be anxiety, but it's not always so or going to be so. Everyone I see wants me to try medication again. Medication is what started this whole thing for me. Enough is enough.
