I wish I had something better to post, but I don't. I've been feeling so sick. I was in and out of the ER 3 times, I know a lot of buddies can relate. Since I've been so sick I've been afraid that my infection spread, but all my tests come out normal. I haven't had a fever even though it feels like it. My last trip to the ER I was sure it was going to be bad news, but my infection actually cleared! I asked them then why do I still feel so sick? I was told it takes awhile for your body to get over being sick and I probably made myself feel worse because of my anxiety. I'm so tired of this. I even had a head scan because I complained of headaches and that was normal too.

Could it just be the antibiotics making me feel so sick? My anxiety? Both? I'm so scared there's more to this, but 3 ER trips later and nothing. Everytime they ran my blood and did  a urinalysis (the infection was a UTI). I have a follow-up appointment with my PCP tomorrow and she'll probably have me committed because of all my ER trips. I just want to feel better. I have 7 days of the antibiotics left. I'm afraid it's the antibiotics making me feel so unwell and I have a whole week left of them! I went out and bought some probiotics to help mitigate the antibiotic damage, but I know probiotics can only do so much.

I woke up a bit ago with shakey legs and a racing heart and feeling like I'm going to pass out. I've been clenching my jaws a lot again too. I was starting to feel better before the infection, but now I feel like I'm back where I stared. This blows.

Hi there l have heard and read that antibiotics can ramp up symptoms however if you need them you need them you have probably got a double whammy going on what with the infection as well. I know it's hard but just try and tell yourself that you are healing there's nothing to worry about your already stressed body is trying to deal with this.hope that help's Love Katxx

Thank you for your reply Kat! I hope you're doing okay. I figure it's the antibiotics knocking me on my butt and not just the infection. I'm also on stuff I've never been on before, so I don't know how much of it I can chalk up to withdrawal. I could have had this same reaction even if I never had benzos. I'll never know, but I do know that my anxiety it seriously getting to me. I fear for the worst all the time. I've been catastrophizing. It's so hard to believe I'm generally well when I feel so bad, like a lot of buddies I've had so many tests done but nothing ever shows up. Every doctor or medical practitioner I've spoken to tells me not to worry. I want to not worry and believe that no matter how bad I feel I'm still healing.

Thank you again for your reply, I really appreciate it and I hope for the best for you.
