I always have neck pain, but I found it helps to get a good pillow for extra neck support. It may

be worth it to spend some extra money on a good memory foam or some other good quality pillow to keep your neck from lying in an awkward position all night.

I got that neck pain a few weeks ago. It hung around for about 2 weeks then disappeared.

I'm sure another symptom will replace it. I'm a year off this month, and was hoping I'd be

a little further along by now.  :tickedoff:

It's so frustrating the way the healing goes. We have to hang on buddies. Take it one day at a time.

We need to keep encouraging each other. Hang in there...we'll get through this together.

I agree with Grapejuice, a good pillow makes a big difference. I had a period of painful neck and shoulder. I brought a Tony Little Micro pedic pillow, comes in a set of two, bought on HSN, costs some dollars, but well worth it. Mostly it was a need for new supportive pillows and tension in those areas, even during sleep. My neck and shoulder is better. Another thing I do is put a tennis ball in a crew sock, and place on wall and walk the ball up around my back shoulder area and I found a trigger area that was tight and painful, so I spent time with a 4 pong handhelf vibrator on that spot and it made things much better.
