Hi. I am suffering from 10 weeks of klonipin usage and am 3 months off since 6-5-17. A year ago i took ativan for a month followed by a couple months of hell. I rapid tapered from 2mg clonazepam over 4 weeks this time around. I've been reading this forum for a couple months and it has been so hopeful. Thanks everyone here. Looking forward to the the day i can be my old self again.

Welcome to Benzo Buddies! I'm glad you decided to join the forum, you'll get a lot of support and encouragement as you recover from benzo withdrawal. I see that this isn't your first rodeo with benzos,  sometimes it takes a while for us to see that the effects of the drug and withdrawal outweighs the benefits.  Although your usage was only 10 weeks, the taper was pretty fast from a significant dose of clonazepam. How are you feeling?

 

You will be your old self again but it may take some time for the central nervous system to recover, but it will.
