sensitivity and swollen forhead (temporal area) please support

Hi Benzobudies,

 

can you please help me. I stopped 7 weeks ago from diazepan 1 month, 2 mg but not everyday and then 1 month 1mg/05.mg the day after. Since then I have got anxiety and palpitations. But what is worrying me the most is that my temporal area (forhead) get very sensitive and inflamed most of the time.

I checked with the neurologist and he said is due to anxiety.. He doesn't believe is benzo withdrawl.

Can you please tell me if you suffer from this?

2nd month tappering 1, 0.5 to .25 diazepan

Everything you feel and what you will feel from now on is benzo withdrawal. Stay away from psychiatrists and benzo and let your body to heal you.

Hi Tony,

I agree, sounds like it's definitely withdrawal.  My whole head use to burn, I found that cold compresses helped. Now I still get days when I wake up and things are swollen, all kinds of other wd symptoms as well but all the pain is our body trying to heal.  I also have to stay away from any supplements or the wd are so much worse like when I have caffeine.

Stay strong and keep pushing through. No pain no gain is a reality for us while healing. Your anxiety will be high right now as well while your body is adjusting. It will all calm down slowly. I hope soon you will see some improvements but I would definitely stay away from the caffeine buddy.
