Hi Mack40 Welcome to BenzoBuddies!

 

We are glad you found us. While we are primarily a benzodiazepine withdrawal forum, we have  members who are or have taken Gabapentin .  I personally don't have any experience with this medication but I will give you a couple of links to threads about these drugs, they will need to be tapered in a similar fashion to benzo tapering.

I hope you find help too.It is awful.I got it for anxiety from menopause and worked great.Then I noticed when I didn't take it the anxiety was way worse with awful dred feeling.I have no health insurance at the moment so I am going to be pretty screwed.I have read awful stories about gabapentin and will be happy to be done with it.Just scared of the massive anxiety.

Thanks.  I feel sorry for you.  i have heard how bad Gabapentin can be.
