Tapering Klonopin

Looking for advice how to taper from Klonopine after four months use of 1 to 2 mg.

 

Can i go faster than if had been on it for many years ?

I've been on it since Jan so 8 months. I was on 1mg  0.5 twice daily and tapered faster at 0.125mg a time which is a quarter of a tablet. I had a couple of rough days but it was pretty easy.  This was until I got down to 0.25mg then i was hit by bad withdrawals. So going faster can be done, perhaps try a quarter see how you feel. Going to slow down on the last half a tablet. I'm only going by my experience, good luck
