Bad withdrawing from small cuts

I've been tapering  for over 2 yrs. Reason I am doing it slowly is because when I started my first cut was from 30mg to 15mg (halved my does) , bad move. Read the Ashton Manual and realised that I needed to go slow.  I then cut every 2 weeks at 2mg a cut, done this until I was down to 6mg, still to fast so I decided to stop cutting for a while. I now cut 5% every  2 month's and now down to 1 3/4 mg, I do this in liquid so that = 4ml

It takes me weeks to stabilise is this normal. When I cut it takes 3 weeks before I feel it,then really bad wave takes over me. Am I the only person that suffers even when you make a 5% cut..

There is a support group for people on long holds which is filled with people like yourself and I who have to take it very slow and are highly sensitive for whatever reason. I had to recently hold for 4 months because I went too fast, and all considered it was slow.

It's great you are making progress! It's tough accepting it might take us longer but I guess we need to cling to those small victories.

I've noticed over my years of reading the forums that one advantage of taking it slow is less sxe when you drop off completely.

Thank you so much for replying. I was worried that I was the only one who had bad withdrawal symptoms form small cuts. Xxxd

I almost wrote a similar post yesterday!  It's also been two years for me since I've been tapering.  Two to four weeks to stabilize has been the norm for me.  I seem to be able to speed it up a little bit now that I am doing .01mg cuts at a time.  Not much though.

I had a brilliant day yesterday.  And  today I'm really bad. Is this normal. I cut a month ago only 7%.

Its not uncommon, it can also be a good sign...

Sometimes things get a bit up n down before stability sets in...

4-6 weeks sounds about right for many doing a cut and hold..

I would try to avoid making the next cut too soon, atleast until you work out a rough pattern...

That becomes a symptom (SX) based taper...

-Depends what your plans are...

I hope more good days follow soon...
