Hi!  I have now been off all my poisons 4 9 weeks and my symptoms of burning, tingling, numbness, vibrations throughout body and head, adrenaline surges, myoclonic jerks, dp/dr., chronic insomnia, etc. r getting worse every minute.  Yesterday, I had a window and then it gets really bad and intense 4 about another 4-5 days and nights then another window.  The pain is totally unbearable no matter what I do.  I constantly feel like I am losing my mind and just want 2 scream with the burning.  I don't know what 2 do 2 ease the pain so I can get some sleep.  I seem 2 react badly 2 everything.

My burning skin was mostly limited to my feet.  It could be horrible.  I feel for you.

I have no idea if this will work, but I'm going to put it out there for you to consider...

You have a lot of different receptors in your body.  TRVP1 is one that can 'sense' heat pain.  Capsaicin (the hot stuff in chiles) binds to it and you get a sensation of heat.  Turns out that CBD (from hemp) also targets the TRVP1 receptor, but you do not get a sensation of heat.  I wonder if it might be possible to use a CBD-containing salve or lotion to counteract/block the burning sensation.  I'm making a big assumption here that the burning involves TRVP1.  I don't know if that's the case.  But I don't think there's any downside to trying, and if there's a 3% chance that you get some relief, maybe it's worth a shot???

The salves/lotions are commonly available.  They do not contain any psychoactive ingredients.  They often contain oils, fragrances, etcetera that typical salves/lotions contain, and if you know that you are sensitive to a particular lotion additive, then you would want to avoid that one.  Maybe try applying some to a small area where you're experiencing a lot of burning.  See if it helps at all.

Again, I have never tried this and have no idea if it will actually work.

In regards to the burning, someone posted on here a few months ago that vicks vapo rub worked wonders for their burning skin.  My burning skin finally stopped a few months ago, so I have no idea if their is any validity to this claim or not, however, it could not hurt to try!  Good luck, and I hope you feel some relief.

I'm also 9 to 10 weeks off of the poison and similar symptoms here. Try to surrender and relax if possible. I also had 2 weeks ago beautiful window and after that it's worse than ever. I couldn't even relax at all for a few days and I thought I won't survive. My whole body was so tense inside until some chemistry changed and I felt vibrating relaxation running down to my legs. Now I can relax slightly more, but today I have flu like symptoms along with DR.

NeedHelp1:

Please see my response to you in the remeron withdrawal support group.  I think you will benefit greatly from going back to a low dose of remeron until you stabilize.  You did not provide much info in your posts, such as how long a taper, how much, and how quickly you jumped off remeron.

Please message me if you need further encouragement.
