Hi all,

Is it at all conceivable that I could be having a wave from a blood test I had today. they wiped the area down with alcohol before injecting. Am I being paranoid? Suddenly feeling symptomatic.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Regards.

I honestly don't believe that could cause anything. I had a few blood tests while in wd. And nothing happened. I think we tend to over analyze with our wd mind.

Take care 😁

I agree with Pacodoo. The blood test with the alcohol swab should not cause a wave. Sometimes waves happen for no reason at all, that is the nature of benzo withdrawal. Additionally, it's easy to overthink these things. I used Dr. Google far too much in my early recovery and of course found many conditions and diseases that I could have.  Finally I forbade myself from using Google and did much better.
