Wierd life events on top of withdrawal

Ok so allot of strange stuff has happened to me during this whole time I was coming off of benzos. Long story short I had some sort of awakening where I met all these different people that are soulmates, who came intoy life and left just as fast and I was spit out of this whole thing back in my hometown. where now ive all at once ran into a group of these people who identically mirror things that I wish I had, glad I don't have, and what I would be like if I still had what I lost? It's very shoking to me because it was all at once. Not meeting someone then a few months another but all at once i feel very stunned and don't know how to explain. A Jesus moment I guess could be the term. What's going on and why is it all at once

I suspect you haven't had a reply because no one knows the answer.  I'm an atheist but a 'Jesus moment' might be as good an explanation as any.  Perhaps some kind of multiple sensory hallucination as a 'shock' reaction to withdrawal?  I assume this was a one-time experience as opposed to ongoing.  Maybe a condensed version of intrusive long-forgotten memories?  Hope you are okay now.

Hang in there,

Wynne

I'm not religious at all either.  And yea I've between the mental fatigue and what has happened shock is a good word for it. I'm still very hypersensitive. But Yea there was one event after meeting this person, at first I thought it could be the drugs but it was just a very deep connection. I lost pretty much all my friends after this so I guess how they say sometimes people drift away and real friends show up? Idk just very overwhelming and I feel crazy thanks for responding
