Sjs, Yes! It makes it impossible to drive, or go anywhere for me. I check my blood pressure and sugar and it's normal. It's awful. I hope it passes soon. You're not alone.

You sound like me, redpeach! Constantly checking my blood pressure and blood sugar. It makes me feel better. Just got back from my pdoc and my 6 month lab reports were all good! That makes me feel so much better! It's amazing how that works! You hang in there, redpeach! We got this!

After tapering the last of my 5 mg of Valium I stopped completely 15 days ago. I've had everyone of those symptoms plus severely stiff neck many mental problems. Most surprising to me was after a 3 week hold at 1 mg then stopping it took me until day 10 to enter acute withdrawal again. I wasn't expecting it.

I've read  A LOT and still this caught me by surprise. I take clonodine 0.1mg three times a day as my blood pressure has actually become high and my pulse too.

My only advice, now that I am off and don't have it to do over again , is to go so slow! Tiny baby cuts in doses for long periods of time. Like 3-4 weeks or more.

I made the mistake of listening to my doctor who admitted she had never dive this before. I am thankful that I held the last 1 mg for 3+ weeks. I thought I was doing great until I woke up 10 days out in severe withdrawal.

Now my only option is to ride it out. I pray for seconds to pass quicker. Every morning I hope I will feel better but it's gotten worse each day since. Today is day 15. I hope I get a window very soon. I've already been in withdrawal from mild to severe for a solid 3 months. I just want it over with. I wouldn't wish this on anyone ever!!

Imo. No such thing as too slow or holding too long! Once it's over you are stuck with what you get. As much as I wanted it over I'm wanting this over so much more.

Sorry for your suffering, optimistic! I hope you get a window soon. I agree with long holds. Thanks for your input and I wish you the best.❤️
