Cutting back xanax, substituting with klonopin.

Wow! I see it was 4 years ago since I posted on this site. And not much has changed. I have still been taking 6 mg xanax daily, only 0.5 at the time. For the past 8 days, I have cut to 2.5 mg. Reason is I had to cut because I only have access to 2 mg per day. I truly do have a panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. I have been in rough shape since losing my former husband in Feb. 2016. My life seems to have fallen apart.

Here's my dilemma. I cannot see me cutting back anymore this quickly but I will run out of medicine if I don't compensate.  :'( :'( :'(

Please don't put me down or fuss at me. I need a question answered badly.

I have access to klonopins. Could I make the cut after a few more days, I am going for 10 days on 2.5 mg then down to 2 mg, and be able to substitute maybe just one 0.5 klonopin in place of the extra xanax. Any thoughts pleaseeee.
