Gemini 20 .0001mg digital scale.

I bought this scale from amazon about a month ago and my brain is so fried that i could not trust myself to use it.  I had a friend come over last night to help me with it and  do a 5% cut of a 1mg klon tablet. We did  a weeks worth of pills  and i took the first one last night and feeling really bad which i expected.  That scale is so hard for me to use and I know i will not be able to use it in the future. I dont mind spending more $$ for a better one that is easier to use and more accurate. Yes im a dumbass with a fried brain. Anyone willing to offer a suggestion. Im not going to do a liquid taper on klon and my doc does not want to change over to valium after so many yrs on klon.  My main problem is out of control ANXIETY.

Just FYI...I'm pretty sure your Gemini 20 scale actually has a resolution of .001 grams, which is actually 1 milligram.

 

I only point this out because understanding the weight values is really important to be able to do reasonable taper.

thanks builder. yes thats the one i have.  It says .0001 and means nothing to me.  Is there one that you reccomend that is easier to use and more accurate?

SOM - Just play with the scale a little.  You'll learn pretty quickly how it works.  It's really not very different from a bathroom scale.  A good thing to practice on are pennies.  A penny weighs 2.5 grams, so you should see 2.500 or something close to that when you put a penny on your scale.  A modern nickel weighs 5.0 gram, so you should see 5.000 or something close to that.  Use the scale in a room that's free of drafts (of wind).  No fans, no open windows, no a/c running.  Use it on a sturdy table or counter and don't lean on the counter when you use it (and obviously, don't breath on it while using it). 

 

I've worked with a lot of balances in my life and you're not going to find one that's easier to use than the Gem-20.
