I just wrote a really long post and it didn't go through, yikes I will have to come back to finish. Ran out of time.

Short story, I am healing!!! Long story is on my blog and progress log.

Only current issues may or may not be benzo related and may Or may not go away but I focus on acceptance, which was huge all through my taper.

Feel free to contact me PM, I can't always get to it everyday but I will answer!!!

If you are wondering if it's worth it, it is!!! I have a very full life now. I wish That i had done this sooner!!!

I have some enduring muscle, joint pain and anxiety but sooooo much else has cleared up. So glad to hear that your experience has been similar. Congrats in adavance, one year will be here before you know it!!!

Thanks I hope so! I'm getting very impatient with this whole process.

It's been a bit of a roller coaster lately. Starting to have times feeling very good and normal but also crappy times too. My main sx are waves muscle pain / burning nerves, anxiety / restlessness and just feeling a bit sick sometimes. The crappy morning surges came back a bit this week too after being gone for months.

How was the 12th month for you? Did things really change a lot when you got to the year?

The muscles and joint pain continue, headaches come and go, tinnitus is persistent. I try not to focus on them much. I am usually fully functional but lately get tired quickly on some days. I wonder if a little peri menopause mixed in causes my symptoms to flare up and down.

I just take it easy when I need to. I ghave t myself pretty flared up from a recent vacation and just crashed the past week and a half a lot. I was able to get through my volunteer work and basic household stuff but I flared up my back really bad from hiking too much.

Emotionally I am working through a lot, marital conflict, old trauma. But I sleep really good most of the time, lately a few really vivid nightmares. Hoping that will run its course real quick, I don't care for those AT ALL!!! :tickedoff:

Overall I can see such huge improvement in past 6 months. I am playing to grad school for my MSW, going through training for another victim advocacy volunteer gig. I stay quite busy and feel mentally quite sound again. I started all that about 6 mths ago to push myself to get ready for grad school. Decided that I was going back to grad school the second I got off everything but I was smart to wait a year.

How are you doing overall? Noticing improvement as you get close to a year?

Yes I mean compared to how bad it was, for sure but not where I want to be yet. Some of the waves are still pretty bad although tolerable. I am starting to feel normal and my personality is coming back when I have good hours / days.

Mine is mostly physical pain and feeling crappy.

Just really ready to never think about this stuff anymore.

That's great you've been able to do so much from 6 months. I was trying to work but at 7 months was struggling and needed to take time off work. I am hoping to go back in a couple weeks, little nervous but I think it will be good for me if I can handle it. The sx are much milder now and hopefully I can deal with it. Should help the time go faster and hopefully I start to heal very soon.

Wish you the best, I'm sure it will get better and better for you soon!
