The first month was the worst for me, these symptoms will pass. I know it is extremely :smitten: overwhelming and painful but we have to endure. I see you were on 0.0625 for 15 days before you jumped. I haven't reinstated myself but from what I read those who do end up having a harder time the next time they taper. If it were me I would tough it out. It is horrible but it will pass. Sending you positive vibes  :smitten:

Can this be really that bad ? This dizziness and stuff

This calf pain

The first couple weeks is where "the rubber hits the road." The symptoms are terrible, but they wax and wane. I regret taking a rescue dose, as it prolonged my acute symptoms. I'd hold on, hour by hour. You start to get some relief sooner than you expect. Go gently until then. Much love!

Don't go back.  You'll make it.  I had same symptoms the first week except calf pain.  The physical symptoms subsided in week 2.  Hold on and stay strong.

1 week, really? - you have the worst year in your life to look forward to but you have the best people to walk through it with. Read the posts of total human destruction and just be glad you got from 1 day to the next. I am on your side but it's going to get worse. Of all the things BB has done for me the best thing is to make me realize that although i'm dying, I'm not dying from this stupid situation.  This stupid situation is going to make all of us better, eventually....Cheers to shitty days and nights like you've not experienced yet...

Don't be rude . My point was asking if I should go back on and hold . I know it's not suppose to be easy !

I wound up in a mental hospital after 2 weeks because I thought I was gonna kill myself. It can be horrific, to put it mildly.

Oh, and do not reinstate. Like someone already said, it's only going to be more difficult the second time. Plus you tapered down well and you're off a short acting benzo for a whole week. Try to refrain as best you can, but only you can ultimately make the decision.

Good luck!!

Hey there, yes unforunately it can be this bad. I had horrible calf pain every morning and crazy dizziness. Then one day.. Poof! It just stopped. It's your brain healing. All kinds of gaba receptors in the brain are trying to heal so we get all kinds of crazy symptoms. If you can push through you will be much better later. I know it beyond hard and you may feel like your going to lose your mind but it does pass I promise.

I would hate to see you start up again and then go through far worse when you try to stop.

The biggest thing I had a problem with was accepting all of this madness going on with my body. I finally have only by constantly telling myself "this is my brain healing."

I wish when I first stopped my meds that I knew about this site. There are so many great people who are in the same boat and are always ready to give advice and help.

If you ever want to vent feel free to pm me.

You are so strong to have already gone through so much with your taper. Now is the going to be the hardest time but just know you are healing.

Sending you strength buddy  :smitten:

Congratulations on your jump! That's a huge accomplishment!!! I know it's hard but don't look back. You will get through this. Strength and healing to you.

Well done with getting off this stuff. So sorry you are struggling.

Yes, this is all withdraw. It's SO hard and unnerving, but it is withdraw. These symptoms are your brain healing. So hard to believe that they are benign, but they are. You're doing great and things will get better.  I wouldn't go back on the meds.

You are so much stronger then you think! Hang in there

Normal stuff. Be patient. If you go back on you will probably regret it. Good luck. Think positive.
