CT Scan and Iodine Contrast Dye?

GI doc wants me to get a CT scan with iodine contrast dye done and I'm worried about benzo withdrawal symptoms and having a reaction/setback from the contrast.  I'm really sensitive to many drugs/meds and had a slight reaction once to the contrast before but, did ok other times (all before benzo withdrawal).  Has anyone had a CT scan done during withdrawal and done ok or had any issues?  Thank-you.

Me in April and May, for ct scan and MRI, had both kinds of contrast given, one at ct, the other at MRI, and thankfully did fine tho I was concerned.

You nay have a reaction to the dye, but it won't have anything to do with benzos.
