I have a 10 out of 10 painful headache. I just downed 2 extra strength Tylenol and half an extra dose but I still seem to be in withdrawal. I felt terrible earlier today though. Like I had taken to much or the benxo. And now that it's wearing off I'm quite scared. To be frank I want to go to the hospital. I'm fearing for my life right now. My brain does not feel right. None of the doctors I see can tell me anything useful. The only doctor in the whole state who even does the Ashton method is clueless on how to address my symptoms. He just says have u considered going off of it? At .3mg??? R u crazy? That's way too high. I'm having enough withdrawal as it is. Yet I hate taking the drug. It's like my receptors are totally fried. My body rejects the ativan. And it doesn't seem to like valium either.

Idk how long I can sit here and ignore my symptoms. I want to be ok right now. It feels like I've gone cold turkey.

Sorry you're feeling this way! Hopefully the tyelnol will kick in and alleviate the headache soon. I very much know what you mean about your brain not feeling right. Specifically what symptoms are you having? You could go to the hospital, but most likely they will just give you some IM valium. UNLESS you've got super high blood pressure or tachycardia, then they might give you a beta blocker like propranolol, or clonidine. Your symptoms certainly sound like WD, BUT if there's any chance, even remote, that you feel like it could be something else, than obviously going to the hospital for reassurance would not be a bad idea. I came close many times before I reinstated. Curious.. looking at your taper schedule, and when you say 0.3mg, are you referring to ativan or valium? Try not to panic about it too much. Just wait for the tylenol to kick in, find something relaxing to do, and try to calm yourself as much as possible. I know it's hard, and it wont make the WD go away, but panicking will certainly not make things better. Hang in there!

I'm at .3mg ativan. Roughly. Realy .27mg. My headache is gone this morning. I think it was related to withdrawal. I might have measured one of my doses wrong and gotten some fluctuation going.

Bleh I dislike take taking Tylenol every day. I worry about my liver.

I know exactly how you feel, it is horrendous. If you go to the hospital they will most likely just add or put you on something else. I know it's brutal but you have to stick to your goal. You can do it. It will be hell but you can do it. I though I had lost my mind and was in so much physical pain but things improve trust me.

Just get down to the lowest dose possible before jumping. I was only able to get down to 0.0625 and was only on it for 2 weeks. What a mistake, should have been on it at least a month before jumping. I hope you are able to get down to a far lower dose. My doc was of no help at all. They have no clue about any of our symptoms (unless you've found a doctor in the know) , hopefully in the future they will.

Stay strong, you can do this, it is hell but you can do it you are stronger than you know.

You're in my thoughts buddy  :smitten:
