It's been over a week and feeling good since I jumped. Do you think I am healed? I haven't had a beer in 6 months. Should I wait longer? Am I jumping the gun.

It's been 6 months, you can wait a little longer. Give yourself more time to test your land legs. You might be healed but why take the chance so soon?

I would highly recommend against it. Especially only after 1 week from jumping. We are all different and it may be that you could tolerate it, but I would not touch alcohol for the first year. I waited 2 years after a really sideways bad Ativan WD and I am sorry I touched alcohol. I had some issues to get thru after having some beer & wine. I will be waiting several months before I try it again. Not fun and so not worth it. It feels so much better to be at peace. Cannot ever go thru the horrific WD sx again!

Blessings To you and great job! It all takes so long, but your getting there.

How's it going red sky, I was having such a bad night last time we chatted. You kept me from dosing, the next day things got better. I didn't tell you thanks !!  This isn't my first rodeo on Ativan , but it is the last. How long should I wait and see? My first time on Ativan, was over 3 years ago. With over 2 years of Ativan use. I don't really remember how long the withdraws were. All I know is how horrible it was.

I will wait, I just want my old life back. I can't believe I started this drug again! Thanks all!  :tickedoff:

I'm really glad to hear you're doing better N2! I don't know how long to wait... It makes sense to wait at least a few months and see how you feel and if anything else in life triggers wd symptoms. You know your body best! I guess the worst thing that can happen is you drink and it backfires leaving you with horrible symptoms for days.
