Depression induced trauma?

At one year now - honestly don't know I get from one day to the next. Still insomnia, intrusive thoughts, burning sensation in my head, denationalization, extreme anxiety/depression. I have a long history of depression but not usually quite to the depth I've been going through last few months. Each time I seriously doubt I can get through it another day let alone recovering from so dark and hideous a place. I worry that each episode would leave a lasting impression as though the depression itself would cause trauma. But then I do not trust what goes on in my head and could just be I am finding 'meaning' in what the experience 'tells' me - though seems real enough for damn sure.

Not that I can tell. Depression is more acute - has been a trend for about three months. Also sensitivity to stress very high. Today marks the anniversary of 1st day off.

That is incredibly hard. I've heard other people talk about having a really bad wave at a year out. It's great you're aware the depression is lying to you. Strength and healing to you.

One day at a time - all I can do. You would think I'd be good at this by now - but actually no. I could use a battery charge just about now.

Hah! Does anyone become good at this? One day at a time for me too. Sometimes one hour or one moment at a time...
