Is it normal to have an uptake in tinuttus?

Ever since I jumped the ringing is so loud!

Mine intensified during the first 2-3months after jumping, then I started getting longer stretche of stability and lower volume. I still get some really bad days though. Mine's tricky since my tinnitus was caused by sudden hearing loss before I ever started benzos. But withdrawal definitely aggravated it.

In my experience,  yes. My tinnitus was off the charts during my Ativan taper and immediately after. I have been off two months now, and mine has improved. Now each week I get a few quieter days, the rest loud. I would say about 60% improved, which gives me hope!

Yep, I hardly notice tinnitus (although I definitely have some hearing damage from loud music) - except for now, two weeks after the jump.

Yes, absolutely. My tinnitus was a faint hiss before withdrawal, but once I got off the benzos, it became fairly loud.
