So I just passed a month since my last rescue dose, and two months since my detox. I just had two of the most harrowing days of symptoms so far. My obsessive thoughts feel like more than just thoughts--they feel like a "presence" or something, just sitting there in my brain constantly, ready to pounce on and terrify me at any time. I was shaking like a leaf and was totally sure I was going to have a psychotic break.

Alas, nothing happened. It passed. The thoughts are still there, and I have waves of what Matt Samet calls "chemical terror." But I feel so much better naturally than I did with the aid of those terrible chemicals.

How were you at a month out? How long until you started having those elusive windows?

Thanks,

Mark

I was still pretty bad at a month.  Both physical and mental symptoms were still full on.

I started to see some improvement in my third month.  And by May, which was 5 months, I was significantly better than I was at three months.

I'm now coming up on month 9 and the only symptom that is left that bothers me is insomnia.  My sleep is terrible and I haven't been able to start weaning off the Seroquel yet.

That's really encouraging. I can hang on for a few more months, no problem. I just don't know how to weather those intense waves of symptoms. And yes, sleep is going to be an issue for a long time. I'm sorry to hear that you still aren't sleeping well. Has this improved at all for you?

Thanks,

Mark

Hey so I was still feeling shitty at a month out but after two months I was almost normal by month 2 and a half so keep going honestly, your CNS is fragile still and it took me time to build my stamina back up but it all comes back and life gets amazing again
