Terrified I will never recover from these horrendous symptoms

I am almost at week 8 of being totally off all my psych poisons and am felling worse now than I ever did.  I had 2 get off the poisons due 2 the fact they never helped me with anything and I was horrendously paradoxical 2 them.  I feel just as bad off them as I did on them.  My symptoms of chronic insomnia, burning, tingling, numbness, vibrations throughout body and head, heart palpitations, adrenaline surges, dp/dr, feeling like I'm going insane or will drop dead at any moment, blurry vision, hearing difficulties, myoclonic jerks, etc. r really intense and totally unbearable.  Nothing I have tried in the past or recently has helped and I am terrified this is as good as it going 2 get 4 me.

I have been off Gabapentin and Zoplicone 4 2 years, Seroquel 4 almost 9 months and the last one Remeron 4 8 weeks.  Since week 3 of being off Remeron my symptoms have gotten steadily worse 2 the point I feel like I am just constantly going downhill and am stuck in a rut that I can't get out of.  Please I need some reassurance that this is just a very bad wave and that it will get better.  As I also suffer from Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia, hypo-hyperthyroidism and adrenal exhaustion I can't tell what is causing what as the symptoms r all quite similar.  I feel like I am very close 2 eaaths dorr at the moment.

At 8 weeks you are still early in the process and I believe you will feel better with time.  I got off all of my psych meds at the same time and at now 5 months I'm starting to feel some real healing is happening and started feeling more hope recently.  I agree with the above post. .  .Parker's is a good one to read.  I hope you have some relief soon.

I'm sorry to hear what you've been suffering from these inhuman drugs. Like the others said, I also experience tremendous healing at this 4 months benzo free of mine. I guess TIME will answer all your wondering about those symptom. Just make sure to do anything healthy to your body (e.g. eating as healthy as you can, avoid msg / fast / junk food) as you need to support your G.I. health as best as possible. I found that this helps me much, helps to ease my pain due to this process. Besides all that, there's really nothing you can do right now, just try your best to survive, or you can post here. Look at all people here who DID experience TIME as one of their important healing aspects. Hang in there, buddy.
