Loss of the "pleasure" emotion doing every day things

How many of you have experienced this? Is it part of DP/DR? Simple things like eating and drinking I feel like I haven't done them when I have. I noticed this a little over a year ago when I quit cold turkey but then reinstated. Thanks

Loss of pleasure is one of my painful symptoms. I used to enjoy the simple things. Even cleaning or cooking. It is notable when I smile or laugh and it is never carefree right now. I can tell good is tasty but it's not the same as enjoying a meal. This is one symptom I really look forward to losing.

I think this is normal, for sure. Pleasure comes and goes for me now. Since I've been off benzos I have a much greater capacity to enjoy things, at times. I actually get some natural good feelings doing simple things again. It gets better. Sending you love.
