Is 14 months seem to still be early for healing ? What do you think ? I know we all are different but I'm just wondering still suffering so bad at 14 months .😥

I'm in eighth month and I've been asking the same thing over and over. This just seems impossible dose, doesn't it? To have such a tiny little pill invade and mess up the human body so bad. You have to step back and think about the the things that have stopped hurting or the things you can do again now that your BEING is recovering. There are no statistics or research available to give people some sense of the future. The doctors and drug companies are either in denial or covering their asses. Guaranteed they,ll cut people off like they did with vicodin once some us start bitching. Drug companies developer them market them sell them to innocent people and then blame the patient for being addicted. That aside we just have to wait and wait till we get back to who we are. God speed you in your journey!

I've read that average recovery time is 6-18 months.

From what I've read on here, it seems to take 1-2 years. It's amazing that you have survived 14 months Tracy. I think the hardest thing to accept is that it will take as long as it takes. Hope you can reach a point soon where your symptoms are more tolerable. Sending you lots of hugs :smitten:

1-2 years as well for some :(, most heal in 6-12 months though.

Baylissa said on her vid most are the normal 6-18, some up to 2 years, and very few beyond that but all healed. I've also seen people like Don Killian and Antony who said by 16 months they felt pretty damn good and continued to recover further a few months. Those two were quite bad cases too.

I hope you all right about 6-18 months. I just went to my family doctor and he cut me off right away when I said.....I think this suffering what I'm going trough is from benzo withrawl.... he said who ever you going to tell this they all will say is impossible.  Benzo withraw CAN NOT last this long.

15 months and still suffering so much with burning head/scalp. Is just sad doctors and drug companies, will never admit what damage and pain they causing for many of us.

The hardest  things for me to not knowing when is going to end. What we can do is just hope and pray one day it will.

Love and healing for everybody

What if you only been on Ativan for 5 months. Getting a lot of anxiety today with negative thoughts and panic with no sleep. These negative thoughts I have now, which I never had. I keep questioning if this is me or the Ativan withdrawal?? :tickedoff:

N2turbo, very common withdrawal symptoms.

Red Sky, my first go around with Ativan for 2 years was not that bad. This time it feels like I am in a living hell. It stole my life, really scary. And it only took a few months, I went from .5mg to 3mg and it would not put me to sleep.

Yea, first withdrawal is usually not really bad. My first was over in a few weeks. It's the kindling that gets you, going on and off and on again. Updosing too. I'm sorry you're in this situation.

Hey so I don't honestly think there is an average time but I do think the longer you have been on benzos the longer it takes to heal and nothing can really help your symptoms but time, honestly though everybody does heal, even the worst possible cases of withdrawal all heal so hang on and know that healing is coming soon!
