I was on a small amount of Ativan for a month (although I have taken it off and on for several years) and the first five days off I felt fine.

 

Now I'm having more problems with adrenaline surges and panic attacks. 

 

It doesn't help that something happened in July at a GI scope to send my heart rate spiraling out of control.  So now my heart rate is requiring extra meds to keep it in check, and I'm reacting badly to beta blocker meds that previous worked for me.  They are starting to seem to have paradoxyl effects like raising my blood pressure...on the other hand, I guess I don't know how much of that is panic and anxiety.

 

I have to start my teaching job in a few days and I am dreading it so much.  I feel like crap.
