The interesting thing about this New York Times article is that it never mentions that the use of Xanax or any other benzo actually produces more anxiety and misery than it treats...after the high fades.  Our old friend Rebound.

 

More denial?  Or do they just not get it?

Here we go again huh. I was just thinking today reading some more posts of the misery and pain these so called miracle drugs for treatment of anxiety have caused. And why no one is speaking out. I want statistics on how many people have had to go on disability after they sought help from doctors and psychiatrists so they wouldn't become mentally disabled. Just think how many are crippled or dead that haven;t found this website. All I can come up with is greed, denial conspiracy, stupidity, and now a whole lot of ass covering! I'm going out on a limb and write to the ACLU about people who are labeled mentally ill because they sought help for simple stress and anxiety witch could have probably have benefited by just talking to a psychologist. I admit I new absolutely nothing about this Apocalypse until it happened to me!

@Hurtinbadly:  Do it.  Write to the ACLU, write to anyone or any agency you can think of.  SILENCE IS CONSENT.  Articles like the one linked to above do not reveal the truth.  They do not talk about how these drugs can hook a person within just a few days of use through the mechanism of rebound.  Just another example of how these outlets have become soft-headed and useless.  So we have to do it ourselves.
